CAIT LAWSON, ERYT200

Born and raised on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, Cait now calls Rincon, Puerto Rico home. Her journey into yoga began in 2010 as a way to rehab a knee injury and she quickly fell in love with the powerful mind-body benefits of the practice. She completed her 200-hour Teacher Training at Big Fish Power Yoga in Jax Beach, FL in August 2013 and made the move to Rincon shortly after. Since then she’s been teaching weekly group classes at Rincon’s local Wellness Center, Centro La Paz, as well as a Monthly Community Yoga class to raise awareness + donations for local nonprofits that are creating positive change for the town. If she’s not teaching or practicing, you can find her out in the ocean enjoying the waves. She’s been surfing her entire life and is passionate about exploring the yoga-surfing connection. Cait is currently enrolled in a 500-hour Teacher Training with Yoga Medicine.

MALORIE TILLERO, RYT200

Born in New York and raised across from Maria’s Beach, Malorie Tillero is a true Rincon local. Her pride for her town and her connection to the land shines through in all that she does. A third generation business owner, Malorie’s grandmother first opened the still-popular El Bohio at Playa Marias back in 1991. Malorie has been running it since 2008, and it remains a town staple. She discovered yoga in 2010 as a way to help her navigate through some really difficult times of her life, and she went on to complete her 200-hour Teacher Training at Samatahiti in Rincon, PR in 2014. She has been offering donation-based Power Yoga to the town ever since. Malorie is also passionate about nutrition, clean eating, and cross-training to keep her body, mind and spirit in shape. Aside from teaching yoga and running a successful business, she is also a coach for the BeachBody Training Program.
